Formerly known as the Gading Business Management Journal, the Gading Journal for the Social Sciences (GJSS) is an open-access, refereed, peer-reviewed international journal published by UiTM Press, Universiti Teknologi MARA.

Submission and publication are currently free of charge for Volume 29 (Issue No. 2). Manuscripts submitted from 1/9/2026 (Volume 30, Issue No. 1) will be subject to an article processing charge (APC) of RM150 for each accepted manuscript. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process and adhere to the Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The journal welcomes articles from all areas within the field of the Social Sciences.
Online submission (Call for Papers) is open throughout the year.

Vol. 29 No. S.I.1 (2026): Gading Journal for the Social Sciences (Special Issue)
As digital technologies transform the educational landscape, educators must continually reevaluate traditional pedagogical practices and meet learners' evolving needs. Against this backdrop, this special issue of Gading Journal for Social Sciences, themed “Empowering Educators Through Digital Education,” compiles eight scholarly papers featured at the Academic Collaboration Series Seminar hosted by the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Universitas Mataram, Indonesia.
This edition emphasizes the need to empower educators with the knowledge, skills, and adaptability to engage in an increasingly digital learning environment. This special issue calls for critical reflection and pedagogical innovation to build more responsive and sustainable educational practices.

Manuscripts submitted from 1/9/2026 (Volume 30, Issue No. 1) will be subject to an article processing charge (APC) of RM150 for each accepted manuscript. The focus of GJSS is on research articles from the field of the Social Sciences. Submissions for GJSS will go through a double-blind peer review process.
